Professionals working in a variety of settings come into contact with sexually violated men and may not feel properly skilled to support them. We provide in-house and tailored training to these professionals. Each year we put on training days from our base in Holborn, Central London, covering a variety of topics.
We have an introductory two day training on understanding male sexual violation which is suitable for professionals from a wide range of backgrounds (such as social workers, teachers, police, prison staff, counsellors, psychotherapists, nurses).
We have a therapeutic two day training aimed at training or qualified counsellors/psychotherapists who want to develop their skills specifically with this client group.
Additionally we put on other one day trainings or conferences. Over the last year these have included: Supervision for counsellors working with clients who’ve experienced sexual violation, The Perpetrating Mind, The Psychology of Addiction – A Relational Approach and Sexual addiction.
