SurvivorsUK is a charity and a company limited by guarantee.  The strategic governance of the organisation is effected by a 7 to 9 person trustee board with skills drawn from the charity, therapeutic, health and commercial worlds.

These individuals work together to steer the forward trajectory of the organisation, determining the vision and mission of the charity and setting goals for existing services.  They also work to ensure that we're complying with the regulations of companies and charity law and acting appropriately in the way we deal with each other and with others.  Other roles are to monitor performance and quality of the services we provide, to safeguard the financial security and management of the organisation and to employ and manage senior staff.

The role requires a commitment of about 8 hrs per month including one monthly 3hr meeting.
