Survivors’ Forum | Thursday 2 June 2016

Would you like your voice to be heard, and to help shape services offered to survivors/victims of sexual assault, abuse and rape in the London area?

SurvivorsUK has been asked by MBARC (an independent social research organization) to host a Survivors’ Forum on the evening of Thursday 2nd June 2016 (5.30pm to 7pm).

We are looking for 8 to 10 volunteers aged 18 or over, who have been affected by adult sexual assault/rape, or childhood sexual abuse. During a group discussion, facilitated by an experienced counsellor, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences of services, good or bad, and directly help shape services provided by organisations such as SurvivorsUK.

Refreshments will be provided, and reasonable transport costs to our offices in Shadwell / Wapping can be reimbursed. We take the wellbeing of survivors/victims very seriously, and we will make sure that support is available for you before and after the meeting.

If you are interested in taking part, or have any further questions, please do feel free to contact us on 0203 598 3898 or email [email protected]

Please note that we can pay those who come both for their attendance and their travel and other costs.
