“Cope,” is a fractal memory installation confronting childhood sexual abuse.
With it Joseph hopes to help others find solace and to raise awareness about the underrepresented issues revolving around men who have suffered from unwanted or abusive sexual experiences. 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused in the United States before the age of 18 and many don’t speak on it. His work can serve as a mediator for that conversation and the challenges survivors experience.
