SurvivorsUK 30th Anniversary Event

This year 2016 marks 30 years since SurvivorsUK was founded and we are pleased to have been of service to so many over those years. Since 1986 we have endeavoured to help all adults who identify as male, GBT and others to overcome the devastating consequences of rape and sexual abuse both as children and more recently.

We celebrated our anniversary and all those who have done so much to contribute to our work on Sunday 16 October in the marvellous setting of the Griffin Gallery, The Studio Building, 21 Evesham Street, W11 4AJ and enjoyed an evening of excellent refreshments and chat with old and new friends while enjoying live music from three talented singers.

Those who attended all told us what an enjoyable and memorable event it was while the speeches reminded us of the continuing challenge for us of reaching out to more survivors and helping them rebuild their lives – as our Chief Executive Keith Best said “So long as there is one survivor who needs help we shall be there for them offering the emotional support and therapy they need.”
