We are very excited to announce that the first group will start tomorrow at SurvivorsUK. This is a twelve session group which is an opportunity for survivors to meet, to share experiences and to learn from each other. Surviving sexual abuse and assault can be a profoundly lonely and isolating experience; very often people have told nobody about what has happened to them and usually they know of no-one else who has gone through anything similar. Breaking down those barriers and finding out that you are not the only one can be profoundly healing. Lots of men have responded to the offer of the rolling programme groupwork at Survivors and we are currently planning new groups to be held over the coming months.
