National Online Helpline

SurvivorsUK run the National Male Survivors Online Helpline and Webchat Service which is a chat service for men who have experienced sexual abuse either as a child or an adult and allows you to have a confidential one-to-one chat with one of our trained helpliners.

We also speak to close friends and family.

Our helpliners are experienced in supporting you to share things at your own pace, when you are ready. The chat is under your control, so you can choose to end the conversation whenever you want. There’s no pressure when you use our online helpline, you can use it as little or often as you like.

If this is your first time using it, we understand that it may be daunting. We will support you through the process and help in any way we can. The online helpline isn’t counselling – but it is a first step toward talking about the difficulties that survivors face.

You can talk to our helpliners either online (web chat), or via text (sms chat).

Please note that in order to give everyone an opportunity to talk, we generally try to keep our chat to 45 minutes a day.
